Hotel or Resort Bookings

Your hotel or resort booking must meet the following criteria to be eligible: 

  • Your reservation must be confirmed and final. 

  • The lower price must be for the same property and the same dates as your booking. 

  • The lower rate must be currently available and bookable. 

  • Your request must be submitted within 24 hours of making the booking and at least 7 days prior to check-in. 

  • Please include supporting information or documentation so we can verify the lower price.

The Best Value Guarantee applies only to stays and cruise rates available to the general public. Taxes and fees are excluded. 

Subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions set forth below, we may provide you with a limited opportunity to request a value adjustment, refund or benefit in connection with certain qualifying travel bookings made through us (the “Best Value Guarantee”). The Best Value Guarantee applies only in the specific circumstances described herein, is subject to strict eligibility and timing requirements, is only available to U.S. residents, and is not intended to constitute a general price-matching or lowest-price guarantee. All determinations made in connection with the Best Value Guarantee, including eligibility, verification, valuation, and the form of any benefit provided, shall be made by us in our reasonable discretion and shall be final and binding. a. Cruises If, within 24 hours of your original cruise booking confirmation, you find a cruise fare for the same ship, sailing date, itinerary, cabin category, occupancy, and cruise line that is available to the general public and that we determine, in our reasonable discretion, provides a better overall value when considering the total fare and any included monetary benefits (such as onboard credit, shore excursion credits, or free guest incentive offers such as “kids sail free”), we will provide you with an additional US$100 in onboard credit (“OBC”) for the cruise pursuant to the steps herein under the Best Value Guarantee. Where permitted by the applicable cruise line provider and without incurring additional costs, fees, or loss of value, we may also attempt to re-fare your cruise booking to the better value fare; however, re-faring is not guaranteed. If re-faring is not permitted or is not feasible for any reason, including, but not limited to non-refundable fares, cancellation or change penalties, or fare restrictions imposed by the cruise line, then we will keep your original booking and still provide you with the additional US$100 OBC for your original cruise booking. For some cruises and/or itineraries it may not be possible to provide you with US$100 in OBC. In that case, we reserve the right in our reasonable discretion to substitute the OBC with the onboard currency equivalent or a comparable benefit. All determinations regarding eligibility, value comparisons, documentation sufficiency, and feasibility of re-faring are final and binding and will be made by us in our reasonable discretion. We reserve the right to verify claims after submission and to revoke benefits issued in error or as a result of misrepresentation. To request the Best Value Guarantee, you must (i) go to the Best Value Guarantee page, (ii) submit the form located therein within the applicable 24-hour period and (iii) provide screenshots showing the information required below. Screenshots must be provided in up to five separate files of one MB or less and in JPG, PNG or PDF format. Screenshots must clearly display the website, URL, cruise line and itinerary, cabin type, dates, cancellation policy, total base rate, currency, and evidence that the rate was available at the time of verification. We must be able to verify in our reasonable discretion that the lower rate you find meets the following conditions: • It is in the same currency and geographic offer location as the booking you made through us (this includes any rates obtained by using a VPN or other means to receive an offer directed to customers in a different geographic location); • It is for the same cruise line, itinerary, cabin type, rate type, dates, number of guests, and cancellation policy as the reservation you made through us; • It is openly available to the general public to book at the time of verification; • It is not part of a flash sale or other time-limited promotion; and • It is at least 1% lower than the booking you made through us. The Best Value Guarantee applies only to cruise fares that are publicly available and does not apply to consolidator, group, incentive, restrictive, qualifying, interline, meeting, convention, or other rates not available to the general public. Taxes, fees and other mandatory charges are excluded from any value comparison. Each booking is eligible for only one Best Value Guarantee request, and all determinations regarding eligibility, value comparisons, and rebooking feasibility are final and made by us in our reasonable discretion. OBCs have no cash value, are non-refundable, non-transferable and are subject to the applicable cruise line’s terms and conditions. Cruise lines have different restrictions on what purchases and/or fees may be paid for using OBCs. Please be sure to carefully review the applicable cruise line’s terms governing its OBCs for full terms and conditions. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Best Value Guarantee at any time without notice for future bookings. b. Hotels and Resorts If, within 24 hours of your original hotel or resort booking confirmation, you find an offer for the same stay that meets the qualifications provided below, then you may submit a request pursuant to the steps herein under the Best Value Guarantee to receive a refund for the difference in price. To take advantage of the Best Value Guarantee, you must complete the following steps: (i) your purchase must be final, which means your hotel or booking must be confirmed by the hotel or line; (ii) you must notify us of the lower price using the form on the Best Value Guarantee page; (iii) the notice must be within 24 hours of your booking confirmation and no fewer than seven days prior to the applicable check-in date; and (iv) you must provide us the supporting information that is listed below. The Best Value Guarantee only applies to the base booking rate and does not include taxes, service fees, resort fees, or other charges. If you used any non-cash benefits or incentives to save on the hotel or resort reservation with us, then the applicable base booking rate is the rate you paid after redeeming any non-cash benefits or incentives. To submit a Best Value Guarantee claim, submit a completed form located on the Best Value Guarantee page and describe the source of the lower price with screenshots showing the information required below. Screenshots must be provided in up to five separate files of one MB or less and in JPG, PNG or PDF format. Screenshots must clearly display the website, URL, hotel or resort name, room type, dates, cancellation policy, total base rate, currency, and evidence that the rate was available at the time of verification. We must be able to verify in our reasonable discretion that the lower rate you find meets the following conditions: • It is in the same currency and geographic offer location as the reservation you made through us (this includes any rates obtained by using a VPN or other means to receive an offer directed to customers in a different geographic location); • It is for the same hotel or resort, room type, rate type, dates, boarding type, number of guests, and cancellation policy as the reservation you made through us; • It is openly available to the general public to book at the time of verification; • It is not part of a flash sale or other time-limited promotion; and • It is at least 1% lower than the reservation you made through us. The following are some examples of rates that do not meet the above conditions and are not eligible for the Best Value Guarantee: • Rates that are not available to the general public (this excludes, for example, booking rates that require any kind of membership or program participation, corporate or military rates, group or negotiated rates, rates available only to those residing in a specific geographic location, etc.); • Rates that are not openly available to be booked without meeting additional requirements (this excludes, for example, rates available by using a coupon, voucher or other promotion not offered to the general public, pay in advance coupon/voucher promotions, rates that require calling to get the rate or logging into a website or application, rates provided in an email, rates that do not disclose the hotel or resort until a reservation is made, rates that require payment with a specific credit card, etc.); • Package rates that include the hotel, resort or cruise reservations with other components, such as a rental car, entertainment, etc. • Rates that are available through the use of any kind of reward or loyalty points; • Lower rates that are errors or mistakes; and • Rates on auction or bidding websites. If we are able to verify that the lower rate you submitted is eligible for the Best Value Guarantee, then we will refund you the difference to your original payment method. Any abuse, misrepresentation, or manipulation of the Best Value Guarantee may result in denial of the claim and, where appropriate, suspension or termination of your Account or participation in the Program.
